School Sports Day

E's school sports day was today - it had been postponed a couple of times due to bad weather. Although the sun was out it was still very windy and cold! Ella & I went along to have a look at the events.

The events weren't traditional athletics - this event was passing a hoop around in a circle without letting go of each other's hands.

Unfortunately when we first got there Ella fell over and grazed her leg - she cried the entire time we were there so we left early and didn't see all the events. She wanted me to show you this photo of her "poor leg" It's amazing how the tears stopped when we got a bandaid at home!!
