Yesterday we went with our good friends the Wades to Luna Park. The kids had never been there before so they were super excited! As you can see from this photo, they were just itching to get in!
Then it was on to the Ghost Train!
This photo is very blurry but I love how it shows how E was covering his eyes when they got out of the Ghost Train!
Mikayla being the smallest at 100cm wasn't able to go on everything..... so the kids all went on this elephant ride so she could have a go on something. The height restrictions around Luna Park were a little odd - although she wasn't able to go on things like the Dodgem Cars she was allowed on the scenic railway by herself which just doesn't make sense.
E was the only one who could go on the Dodgems much to the disappointment of Ella & Riley - they only missed out by a couple of cms. Although E got stuck in the position that he's in in this photo and couldn't get himself out of it - then the ride finished and he got cranky and said "That ride was horrible!" So needless to say we avoided the Dodgems for the rest of the day!
This ride the Shock Drop was by far the kids favourite! This photo was taken before they started on their first go - Ella is all smiles......
E and David on the G Force. E is such a dare devil - you wouldn't think it with his quiet personality but he just LOVES all these rides!
You wouldn't believe it, we ran into Mark's Aunty and three cousins from Adelaide and Cairns who we haven't seen for nearly 12 years!
Back on the Shock Drop!
The Twin Dragon. By this stage Ella was getting quite confident and hardly hanging on!
After this Twin Dragon we all had a go on the Scenic Railway. This is the photo that they take for you as you go down one of the hills. It was funny later in the evening we drove past Luna Park and this ride was stuck at the top with a group of people on it.... yikes! I am so glad that didn't happen when we were on there!

Mark, David & E on the Metropolis.
I think this is a great photo of them at the top of the roller coaster. Look at the difference in the sky - it turned into an absolutely perfect afternoon.
It was so busy at Moomba - we watched a few water skiers but decided that the kids would have more fun back at St Kilda beach.
Then as it started to get dark we headed to McDonalds for another quick play and an icecream.
All in all a wonderful fun-filled day!
