So I am sitting here alone tonight - Mark is at work and the kids are in bed - and the chocolate cravings kick in.... I remember that my friend Nat posted a 5 minute chocolate cake recipe on Facebook.... mmmmm...... let's give it a go..... Oh.... My..... Goodness..... how yummy!!! Mine exploded over the mug a little bit but it is so quick & easy and sooooo delish!!!
Here's the recipe
INGREDIENTS:
1 Mug
4 tablespoons SR flour
4 tablespoons sugar
2 tablespoons cocoa
1 egg
3 tablespoons milk (or water)
3 tablespoons oil
3 tablespoons chocolate drops (optional, but this does make it chocolate-ier)
Splash Vanilla Ess
METHOD:Add dry ingredients to the mug, mix well with a fork.
Crack an egg and add it to your mug. Be sure to mix it well to avoid any pockets of flour in the corners.Pour in the milk and oil and mix well.Add the chocolate drops if you've got them/want them, and a splash of vanilla essence too.Put your mug into the microwave and zap for 3 minutes on max power.Wait until the cake stops rising, and sets in the mug. You might need to run a knife around the sides, or just wobble it a bit and it should pop out.
I took a photo to share will upload it tomorrow. Thanks so much for the recipe Nat!!!
