Circus Oz Workshop

Today E went to a Circus Workshop run by Circus Oz. There were about 20 kids in the group and they did a range of activities. To start they played some games like toilet tiggy!! Then they did a whole lot of stretches which E started to get a little bit bored during. After the stretches they divided into three groups. E's first group was doing things like somersaults, cart wheels, rolling and jumping. His next group was juggling - starting with scarves then balls. The last group was using spin sticks and spinning plates. He really enjoyed that group. After the group activites they did a last group activity which was building human pyramids. Poor E was always stuck on the bottom as he was one of the bigger kids!! He had a fantastic time!

This was a game of tiggy where you had to become a bridge and someone had to crawl under you to release you.

sssstttttrrrreeeettttcccchhhh!!!!!

E wasn't that keen on the juggling - too much like sport I think with all that catching!

I know it doesn't look like it but this was actually spinning really fast!

See this is how you do it!!

The human pyramids!

The girl with her legs on E's back is his friend's sister Jaeda.

Do you think he's enjoying himself?!!

All this circus stuff is thirsty work!
