As you are all probably aware E is really into anything Science at the moment, so as you can imagine he got quite a few Science experiment type things for his birthday. This is the first one we've had chance to play with - the test tube alien. E was a little hesitant to do this one because he thought a real alien was going to hatch!!
It starts off in it's cocoon.....
Then you add some water and it starts to hatch......
Meet E's new alien pet Dekakai. It's quite incredible really - once it's hatched you have to "feed" it with a special solution then as it grows over the next few weeks it's "heart" flashes orange when it's hungry, red when it's happy and green when it's drowning!! It even has some kind of sensor that when you log onto the
test tube alien website it can tell you how healthy it is!! Will keep you updated on Dekakai's progress.....!!!!

OMG that is so cool (if I were Ethan) - aren't toys just amazing these days.
This is really neat! I'd never heard or seen anything like it. Maybe when Michael is a bit older he'd enjoy something like that too...thanks for sharing!
