Tulip Festival

Wednesday's outing was to the Tesselaar Tulip Festival. Unfortunately Mark had a course to go to for work so he couldn't come with us but we went with three of our friends (total of 8 kids yikes!) It was children's day and it was super busy with long waits for everything which was a bit of a shame. The tulips were just gorgeous - it was difficult to take many photos trying to keep track of that many kids but here are a few of my favourites.

The kids were super patient, waiting an hour and a half to have their faces painted. Of course E wanted to be a Ben 10 alien and the lady was good enough to copy a picture from his shirt for him, so he was happy!

We actually thought Ella was going to fall asleep while she was having her face painted!

Being Children's Day there were lots of activities for the kids including a farm. This little Guinea Pig E was holding kept trying to escape!

This fairy was sleeping in the tree (not really sure why!!)
