A Solo Performance!

E has been doing music lessons all year. He started on guitar but was finding it frustrating not being able to play songs which was a little surprising as most of you know he's been guitar crazy since he was little!! Anyway so he decided he wanted to try the keyboard. He only swapped two weeks ago and we didn't think he would be performing at last night's Arts Festival but he decided that he wanted to.

He was supposed to be performing with two other girls in his class but for some reason they weren't there and he had to go solo! He did an amazing job - he loves being the centre of attention. We had originally been told that he would be performing in the first of two concerts and after sitting through the first concert we had to wait for the second. We were all starting to get tired and frustrated and considered leaving without having E perform but we were so glad that we persisted because he did such a great job.
