Michelle's 40th Birthday Party

Last Saturday night was my cousin Michelle's long awaited Elvis themed 40th Birthday party. We decided to go as Elvis circa 1950. My good friend Simone and her mum made Ella & I rock'n'roll style skirts - which turned looked fantastic (thanks Simone & Alice xx). Simone and I also hunted through various op shops to find costumes for Mark & E - I think they turned out very 50's!

This is Ella standing next to the Graceland Gates that Michelle has in her backyard! Yes Michelle is a diehard fan!!

E had a fantastic time, he was right in the thick of things. He made friends with all the kids and all the adults for that matter. In this photo he was having a go with Donna's blow up Bucking Bull suit!

This was hysterical - E got these glasses from someone and the way he came strutting over to show us was so funny. You can kinda see the way he was strutting from the way he is standing in this photo.

Uncle Jim made this replica of Elvis' first house - which was just amazing. If you look closely you'll see there's an addition to the Presley household.

I thought this was a fantastic idea for a keepsake - everyone signed this guitar.

There were so many great costumes!
