A Day in the City

Mark has had the past few days off work - his first since June last year so we decided to go into the City for the day.

Each year we join Ethan up as a Carlton member and this year he needed to collect a cap from the Carlton shop so we decided to do that first. While we were there we were told that the Blues would be training at 1.30pm so we decided to go and have lunch and come back in time to see them.

We had lunch in Carlton Gardens which surround IMAX and the Museum. The kids had a ball on the adventure playground there.

When we got back to Carlton it was pouring with rain so we decided to stay for a while. When we first got back the Storm were training. Mark was wrapped to get a photo of Judd & Fevola together running out onto the field. Unfortunately because of the rain we didn't get any autographs.

After our stop at Carlton we decided to go and have a look at Fitzroy Gardens. The rain had almost stopped so we took our umbrella's just in case. It's just lovely there and we got some great photos of the kids playing with the autumn leaves.
